As a concerted effort to sustain and augment agriculture in the State, AGRITEX 2014 is bringing together the farming community, agri-specialists and agri-service providers into one pavilion, through an Agricultural Direction Program and Trade Fair. At AGRITEX, farmers will be trained and offered integrated solutions to improve productivity and simplify farming, while agri-service providers will get the opportunity to showcase and market their products, techniques and technologies to the participating farming community. AGRITEX 2014 is scheduled to be a Four-day affair from April 24-27, 2014, just in time to provide valuable inputs to the farming community before the Kharif crop.

The Direction Program will introduce the farming community to new techniques and products to maximize the use of scarce water and arable land for making agriculture flourish. Agri-scientists and engineers will train and educate the farmers from different regions of the state, on the following subjects;
- Crop Diversification
- Export Oriented Agriculture
- Increasing Cropping Intensity
- Introducing Cost Reduction Technologies
- Organic Farming for Special Market Requirements
- Efficient Crop Management Pratices
