THE TELANGANA STATE GOVERNMENT
Department of Agriculture & Food Processing Industries commends AGRITEX and its Direction Program goals, which focus on and discusses important subjects such as soil fertilization, crop diversification, exports oriented agriculture, increased crop intensity, etc.
We support the efforts of AGRITEX in leading our farming community to greater prosperity. The State Government is determined to take steps to achieve sustainable agriculture, and improve farmers’ standard of living. We are confident that AGRITEX will provide the opportunity for exposure to a wide and comprehensive knowledge-base of the latest developments pertaining to agriculture and related activities. We welcome the farming community, agri-specialists and agri-traders to join us in this initiative and be part of the fruitful growth story of our State.
The 6th Edition of Agritex India will be held in conjunction with Food Processing India. This dynamic event will provide a comprehensive range of new agricultural technologies and innovations, with the focus on sustainability, as well as bring together players in the food processing and manufacturing industry to do business face-to-face.
Fisheries in India is a very important economic activity and a flourishing sector with varied resources and potentials.
India is one of the leading countries in producing fish through aquaculture and is home to more than 10 percent of the global fish diversity. Presently, the country ranks second in the world in total fish production with an annual fish production of about 9.06 million metric tonnes.
In light of the above, in addition to important topics such as “Seed Tech” and Dairy Show”, for the first time, “Aquaculture” will be included in the Agritex conference core program.
